Part of my PhD examination exhibition, Playing the Fool at MADA (Monash Art design and Architecture, Monash University) these photographic images became part of my understanding of the material I was dealing with in the thesis. The photographs represent both the distancing from the appropriated works, literally ‘at arms length’, but at the same time they speak to my own implication in their repetition.
